Expected OutcomesÌý Ìý ÌýWhy Now?Ìý Ìý ÌýScope and Timeline

Expected Outcomes

Improved Student Satisfaction

This specifically relates to critical activities in the student experience, e.g., advising, registration, learning management, student financials, and student success. This improvement should contribute to increased student retention and graduation rate.

Streamlined Finance, HR, and Student Success Administrative Processes

ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ’s legacy systems do not support modern automated workflow nor decentralized and efficient data analytics for business decisions and student success. DX will reduce the reliance on paper, generate GAAP Financial Statements from the enterprise resource planning system (ERP), and streamline core process cycle times.

Support of Fundraising Efforts

Deliver tailored interactions for alumni, donors, parents, and equip the Advancement team with a modern prospect tool for decision-making.

Adoption of Modern, Integrated Systems

Replace outdated enterprise systems with ones that will improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction of processes within core systems. Modern, integrated systems will require reliable data and governance, reduce reliance on paper, and will streamline core process cycle times.

Why Now?

Incoming students are technology natives, and ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà must transform our students’ technology experiences into ones that are seamless, personalized, and user friendly.

We must also improve ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ’s enterprise systems to empower faculty and staff to provide an improved and efficient student process as demanded by the increasingly competitive higher education industry.

Bring Core Technical Platforms Up-To-Date

Student Information System (SIS)
SIS is the data backbone serving the University’s core educational mission. This includes course registration, degree audits, access to and financial aid and student billing records.

Human Capital Management (HCM) system
HCM maximizes the recruitment and employee experience by automating HR tasks so that ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà can focus onrecruiting, rewarding, and retaining exceptional faculty and staff.

Finance system
A modern finance system provides timely, automated, and transparent financial tasks and reports that present pertinent information to contributors in support of the university’s mission and to maintain financial compliance.

Make Meaningful and Transparent Decisions

Better business decisions
Modern, automated systems will allow centralized and efficient data management and analytics in order to better make critical business decisions. Rather than manually managing processes, resource allocations will be aligned to the decisions made as a result of those processes.

Meaningful dashboards and reporting
ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà is committed to building and maintaining a system that can pull data from multiple sources in order to produce meaningful dashboards, reports, and progress updates for appropriate community members.

Tailored insights for fundraising
The University must contribute to and have access to a system capable of managing alumni communications, donor records, contribution portals, and campaign marketing is critical to ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ’s success.

Enhanced Information Security

Commitment to security and system best practices
A modern information system is sustainable and trustworthy only if it is secure. ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà commits to implementing best practices for information security and associated audits.
