Celebrate Undergraduate Research Week!
Connect with the undergraduate research community and thank a mentor this April

Each April, the designates an entire week to showcase and celebrate the incredible work done nationwide by undergraduate researchers and their faculty mentors. This year, numerous virtual events will be held from April 19 through 23 and throughout the entire month of April, including , the largest national undergraduate research conference, and , a selective poster presentation opportunity usually held on Capitol Hill.

How can you participate, you ask? CUR is encouraging all undergraduate research students to take to social media and give a shout-out to their mentor, faculty advisor, their program, or their institution to thank them for their help and support, or share their success story and how UG research has impacted them. Please tag your post @CURinAction and use the hashtag #URW2021.

All Mellon students can pick up a goodie bag in the Mellon study room (Coates Library, 411) during Undergraduate Research Week (April 19 through 23) while supplies last!
