性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business is Re-accredited
Affirmation by international association demonstrates quality in programming and faculty, dean says

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business () has re-accredited 性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business for five more years in a nod to the excellence of the school鈥檚 leadership, faculty, curriculum, and students.

The recognition follows a multi-year path of rigorous internal focus, engagement with mentors from AACSB, and peer-reviewed evaluation. For more than a century, AACSB accreditation has been synonymous with the highest standards in business education and has been earned by less than five percent of the world鈥檚 business schools.

鈥淩e-accreditation of our School of Business by AACSB International confirms what the business community already knows: Our graduates are grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and are well-prepared to take on challenges, are effective communicators, and are able to participate as team members who make positive contributions to achieving organizational objectives,鈥 says Robert F. Scherer, dean of 性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business.

Scherer adds that the process included an update of the School鈥檚 strategic plan that is fully aligned with objectives of聽性爱天堂 Tomorrow, the University鈥檚 strategic plan. It was developed by an interdisciplinary committee co-chaired by聽Deli Yang, the Burr-Clark Professor of International Business and associate dean of the School of Business, and聽Eugenio 鈥淒ante鈥 Suarez, associate professor of finance and decision sciences.

Goals and objectives of the strategic plan for 性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business are:

Enhancing distinctive academic programs

  • Stimulating experiential learning and career advancement
  • Blending with the University鈥檚 research, entrepreneurship, and ethical thinking
  • Strengthening global awareness and engagement.

The 鈥渂est business schools in the world鈥 are accredited by AACSB, Scherer says, adding, 鈥淩e-accreditation of our School of Business by AACSB International provides all of our stakeholders鈥攊ncluding students, parents, and the business community鈥攚ith the knowledge that we meet the highest standards of quality and excellence in our faculty, students, curriculum, and resources to sustain and enhance our academic programs and research activities.鈥

More than a quarter of all 性爱天堂 students major in business, earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting, business administration, or finance and decision sciences, or a master鈥檚 degree in accounting.

The School of Business offers an integrated, innovative undergraduate and graduate program for students who are well grounded in the liberal arts. Building on a firm understanding of the fundamentals of business and rigorous discipline-specific instruction, students continue to learn and apply advanced concepts experientially. The programs produce globally aware, ethically sensitive, technologically proficient graduates who think critically, communicate effectively, and understand business as a consequence of both field and classroom involvement.

性爱天堂 is one of 52 business schools receiving word this week that their accreditation has been extended by AACSB. Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools and the largest business education network connecting students, educators, and businesses worldwide.聽聽

鈥淎ACSB congratulates 性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business on extending its accreditation,鈥 says Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. 鈥淭he intense peer-review process confirms a school鈥檚 continued focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curricula development, and student learning. 性爱天堂鈥檚 School of Business鈥 dedication to delivering high quality business education will create the next generation of great leaders.鈥
