ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà Ranked No. 1 in the West For 25 Years
U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" Guide gives ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà high marks for commitment to undergraduate teaching

For the 25th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" guide awarded ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà a No.1 ranking in the category of institutions that offer a full range of undergraduate programs as well as select master's programs in the Western part of the United States. The annual college rankings also recognized ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ's strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in the same category and region.

"ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ's faculty, staff, students, and alumni have contributed their talent and energy to build an educational community to be proud of and worthy of top recognition," said ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà President Danny Anderson. ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà was also recognized in a number of U.S. News' specialized lists, including:

  • ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà was ranked No. 1 in the West where faculty has a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
  • ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà received a No. 2 ranking in the publication's best value category, "Great Schools, Great Prices."
  • The University's engineering science program was ranked No. 25 among the nation's best schools where the highest degree offered is a bachelor's or master's.
  • ÐÔ°®ÌìÌÃ's School of Business was named to the list of top undergraduate business programs in the country.

U.S. News & World Report's annual edition of "America's Best Colleges" is one of several publications and guidebooks that have consistently recognized ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà as a premier institution. Recently ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà was also recognized as a "Best Buy" in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2017, one of 45 public or private institutions recognized for excellence in cost, academic rating, and quality of student life.
