性爱天堂 Approves Parental Leave for Staff Members
New benefit allows 12 weeks of full-time paid leave

This week, 性爱天堂 approved a new parental leave benefit for all eligible classified and contract staff, providing 12 weeks of paid leave to provide bonding and adjustment time with the arrival of a new child.

鈥淭his policy is a wonderful representation of 性爱天堂鈥檚 values. By honoring and respecting our employees and their families, we demonstrate our commitment to community and the individual. Moreover, we advance our pursuit of excellence, as we strive to be one of the top places to work not only in San Antonio, but in higher education,鈥 says Danny Anderson, 性爱天堂 president.

性爱天堂鈥檚 paid parental leave is a benefit offered to all full-time, benefit-eligible staff members with at least one year of full-time service at the date of the birth or adoption of their child, and who will be acting as the primary caregiver for this child. The new policy is part of a collaborative effort between the University and the 性爱天堂 Staff Engagement Committee (TSEC).

鈥淥n behalf of TSEC, we are delighted that the University has initiated paid parental leave for its valued staff,鈥 says Trey Dunn, president of TSEC. 鈥淭his is the result of a lot of hard work, collaboration, and careful consideration. We are proud and fortunate to be able to work with an administration that truly believes the staff of 性爱天堂 deserves nothing but the best,鈥 says Dunn.

鈥淭he administration's willingness to listen to staff concerns and needs remains paramount, and we are lucky to have the leadership of this institution on our side. We would like to thank Dr. Anderson and the University's leadership for all they have done to make this happen,鈥 Dunn adds.
