�԰����� Theatre has captured 14 awards during the annual Globe Awards ceremony sponsored by the .

Faculty, staff, and students received awards in every category in the college division except sound design, indicating a well-rounded program. One production, Threepenny Opera, was recognized with 10 awards.

“The breadth of the awards that our program won this year shows not only the talent of our faculty, staff, and students but also the strength of their vision of theatre being at the core of a liberal arts education,” said Andrew C. Hansen, associate professor and chair of the Department of Human Communication and Theatre.

The awards evening was dedicated to John Igo ‘48, who died earlier this year. He was named �԰�����’s Distinguished Alumnus in 2001.
