�԰�����’s weekend of beloved holiday festivities will return in-person to a small audience this year, in accordance with the University’s COVID-19 policies. The Christmas concert, Vespers, and Christmas on Oakmont will be open only to �԰����� faculty, staff, students, and their family members, with live streaming available for the concert and Vespers through Tiger Network. The University is grateful for the opportunity to bring the �԰����� community together in holiday cheer this year after a wholly virtual holiday concert lineup last year and hopes to bring these events back to the general public in 2022.

Christmas Concert

Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

�԰����� student musicians will return to the stage to perform the University’s 27th annual Christmas concert. The combined �԰����� choirs, �԰����� Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Handbell Ensemble will perform at this year’s concert. Faculty, staff, and students will be admitted into the concert. Family members of �԰����� faculty, staff, and students will also be admitted into the concert. 

The event is free, and tickets are not required. Masks will be required for attendees. 

Vespers

Sunday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. (prelude music begins at 5:30)
Parker Chapel

The Sunday following the Christmas Concert, �԰����� faculty, staff, students, and their family members are invited to gather in Parker Chapel for an annual Christmas service. The 1925 Mirage contains the first mention of the Christmas Vespers service, making the candlelit tradition nearly a century old. 

The event is free, and tickets are not required. Masks will be required for attendees.

Christmas on Oakmont

Sunday, Dec. 5, immediately following Vespers

After Vespers, the �԰����� faculty, staff, students, and their family members are invited to descend upon Oakmont Court, where the University president and leadership will greet faculty, staff, and students in front of their homes. This year’s Christmas on Oakmont has a “Christmas Around the World” theme, in which each residence will offer food from different cultures. Since the event is outdoors this year, masks will not be required.
