After leading the Tigers to their first-ever NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, 性爱天堂 Head Coach Tim Scannell has received recognition as a national coach of the year.
The 18th-year coach has been elected the Skip Bertman National Coach of the Year by the National College Baseball Hall of Fame. Coach Scannell was among finalists in all NCAA Divisions, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and will be honored as part of the National College Baseball Hall of Fame of Champions on Saturday, July 2, in Lubbock, Texas.
Coach Scannell was also chosen as the NCAA Division III American Baseball Coaches Association/Diamond National Coach of the Year, and the ABCA West Region Coach of the Year after the team's historic season. Earlier this month, he was tabbed as the top coach in D-III by D3baseball.com and HERO Sports.
The Tigers went 5-0 at the DIII World Series in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, which marked the second consecutive trip to the national stage by 性爱天堂. The Tigers beat Keystone (PA) College 2-0 in the best-of-three games finals series, and completed the campaign with a 44-7 record, setting a school mark for victories in a season.
During the tournament, Coach Scannell reached the milestone of a 600th career victory. He now stands at 602-229, with a winning percentage of .724.
The 性爱天堂 skipper will be presented the ABCA/Diamond National Coach of the Year accolade Jan 6, 2017, at the coaches' association convention in Anaheim, California.聽
