• Jules Poage was born in San Diego, CA, raised in the greater Houston area, and has lived in San Antonio since matriculating at 性爱天堂 in 2015. While at 性爱天堂, Jules worked for campus鈥檚 student-run newspaper, the Trinitonian, peer tutored for a First Year Experience course, and served as the lead writing tutor in the Writing Center. Jules also completed interdisciplinary summer research on trauma memory and memorials with funding from the Mellon Initiative. Jules graduated cum laude from 性爱天堂 in 2019 with a BA in English and art.

    After graduation, Jules was the college advisor for Douglas MacArthur High School in San Antonio, assisting high school seniors with college applications, financial aid and post-secondary planning. Jules then served as a member of the 性爱天堂 Office of Academic Advising for two years as one of two content area specialists for liberal arts and social studies, advising pre-major declaration first year and sophomore students.

    Jules' coaching approach is holistic, always supporting students academically, emotionally and socially. As a 性爱天堂 alum, Jules loves connecting students with on-campus resources, both academic and extracurricular.
