HCAD Faculty Focus - May 2016
HCAD faculty share noteworthy news, publications, and presentations

Amer Kaissi is currently working on a book project related to leadership in health care. The book will be published by Health Administration Press in 2017. The main target audience for the book will be graduate students and early careerists in health care management. In addition, Kaissi is pursuing certification in professional executive coaching from the College of Executive Coaching. He plans to use coaching to support HCAD students and recent graduates as they navigate career decisions and challenges and to help them maximize their leadership potential.

As Director of the HCAD’s Center for Leadership Development in Health Management, Mary Stefl coordinates the program’s executive education efforts. This past February, ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà hosted 20 participants of the REACH program (Readying Executives to Answer the Challenges of Healthcare) for a week of on-campus work that emphasized innovations in the field.  REACH is a collaboration with St. Louis-based Centene Corporation.
