He was in the current graduate class. She was visiting San Antonio during Preceptors鈥 Conference. 鈥淲hen we met, we both knew this was the beginning of a great life together.鈥 He is Peyton Elliott 鈥07. She is Holly Elliott 鈥05. They are the joint recipients of the 2018 性爱天堂 Health Care Administration Alumni Association (HCADAA) Momentum Award. The award was presented on Oct. 18, 2018 during the annual dinner at The Pearl Studio in San Antonio. The Momentum Award was established the in 2015 to recognize performance excellence in health care management in young careerists.

After an administrative fellowship at Memorial Hermann in Houston, Holly began her career there as director of operations. In 2010, she joined Children鈥檚 Memorial Hermann Hospital as director of business development and The Fetal Center before becoming chief operating officer (COO). In February 2017, she was named vice president of Women鈥檚 and Children鈥檚 Services with HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) Gulf Coast Division鈥檚 The Woman鈥檚 Hospital of Texas.

Peyton began his career at 性爱天堂 Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. After an administration fellowship, he joined Houston Methodist Hospital System鈥攈olding positions at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital and the corporate office of Houston Methodist Hospital System. Holly says the couple have been intentional with their respective careers to ensure that they do not have conflicts at work. 鈥淲e differentiated our careers early on in order to make sure that we could both progress when the timing was right,鈥 she explains. That approach has worked well as her interests have always been in women鈥檚 and children鈥檚 services and he has always thrived in operations and finance roles. Both acknowledge the 性爱天堂 HCAD program as influential in their careers and appreciate the vibrancy of the alumni network. 鈥淵ou very quickly identify your fellow HCAD alumni when entering a new organization,鈥 says Holly.

鈥淣ow that we are both in executive level roles in HCA within the same division, we continue to differentiate as best as possible. It has actually been a much easier transition than we both thought. We respect and support each other鈥檚 professional careers. Now it is exciting to be on the same team at HCA,鈥 she says.

Upon learning the couple would receive the Momentum Award, Holly was 鈥渟urprised鈥 and 鈥渟peechless.鈥 Thrilled at sharing the award with Peyton she says, 鈥淚 could not imagine experiencing it any differently.鈥

In addition to their passion for the same industry, the Elliotts love golfing together and any activity that they can do as a family, which includes two young children and an English cocker spaniel. On weekends they are often found on their pontoon boat with family and friends at a parent鈥檚 lake house.
